What technologies does the MELTOVA Scalp Pro™ include?

The MELTOVA Scalp Pro™ combines four active technologies in a single device: LED Light Therapy (Red 660nm, Blue 470nm, and Violet), 3-level intensity EMS Microcurrents, 360° Biomechanical Massage with 72 contact nodes, and an integrated 6ml reservoir for water-based tonics and serums.

How is it different from a common scalp massager?

A conventional massager only works at a superficial mechanical level. The MELTOVA Scalp Pro™ adds clinical photobiomodulation (660nm red light that activates follicle mitochondria), EMS microcurrents that stimulate circulation at a deep dermal level, and sebum regulation using 470nm blue light. It is an active engineering device, not a massage accessory.

Is it safe for color-treated or chemically processed hair?

Yes. The 660nm LED therapy works directly at the root level and does not alter the color structure or affect keratin treatments or straightening.

Are there any medical contraindications?

The MELTOVA Scalp Pro™ is a hair wellness device. If you are pregnant, use a pacemaker, or have active dermatological conditions on your scalp, consult your doctor before incorporating it into your routine.

Usage and Ritual

Why don't I feel the EMS stimulation?

The EMS system requires a conductive medium to activate. Dry scalp has high electrical impedance that blocks microcurrent — it's not a device malfunction, it's basic physics. Apply your water-based serum or tonic to the roots before using the device, or use it post-shower with a damp scalp.

Can I use it without serum?

Yes. You can use the device with LED and biomechanical massage only on a dry scalp for mechanical stimulation and phototherapy. EMS requires moisture to activate the microcurrent — without a conductive medium, that specific function will not operate.

What kind of products can I use with the device?

Exclusively water-based tonics and serums — including liquid minoxidil and light serums. Avoid thick pure oils like undiluted castor or rosemary: their viscosity acts as an electrical insulator, nullifying EMS effectiveness, and can clog the integrated reservoir's dispensing system.

How should I apply the product before use?

Directly to the roots from the container, or using the device's integrated 6ml reservoir. Both options act as a conductive medium for the EMS.

How long should I use it and how often?

10 to 20 minutes per session, 3 to 5 times per week. The first changes — such as reduced hair loss — are usually noticed between 8 and 12 weeks of consistent use. The appearance of visual density improves between 3 and 6 months.

How do I clean the device after each use?

Clean the 72 nodes with a slightly damp cloth or a disinfectant wipe. For a thorough cleaning of the integrated reservoir: twist and remove the gold cap from the back of the device, extract the entire reservoir, lift its silicone cap, and wash the parts with warm water. Dry completely before reassembling. Do not submerge the main body of the device in water.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We process your order within 24 to 48 business hours. Estimated transit to the United States is 7 to 14 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Currently, we only operate in the United States. If you are interested in another country, please write to us at hello@meltova.com and we will consider it for future expansions.

Warranty and Returns

What is the device's warranty?

The MELTOVA Scalp Pro™ includes a 30-day warranty from the receipt of your order. If your device has a manufacturing defect or arrives damaged, we will resolve it without complications — a full refund or re-shipment of a new unit, whichever you prefer.

How do I file a claim?

Write to us at hello@meltova.com with your order number and a photo or video of the problem. Our team responds within 48 business hours and will guide you through the process. You do not need to physically return the product for us to evaluate your case.

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects, device that does not turn on, packaging damage during shipping, or incorrect unit. It does not cover damage from misuse, drops, or the use of non-compatible products such as thick oils in the EMS system.
